Riding with turn signals on
I sometimes forget to turn my turn signals off. I was thinking of mounting super bright LEDs on the plastic above the speedo, but that may blind me at night.
I don't want a beeper. I would prefer a visual reminder.

Guilty of the same thing. RE super bright LED's blinding you I find the high beam LED to be too bright so I went to a tint shop and got a postage stamp of tint. Used a hole punch and make a tint for it.

On the klx i got in a bad habit, almost like a nervous twitch... i press the cancel button all the time... even if i have been going straight for miles. I dont even think about it anymore.....lol.

I do the same thing too

I was thinking about putting the same turn signal/headlight switch thats on the klx on my klr. The klr's turn signal you have to move the switch back to the middle to stop the turn signals. PITA. The button on the klx is much more convenient.

I'm in the habit of canceling signals but I still found myself blinking by mistake.
I ended up adding the cheap speakers to the signals, but I silicone glued them so the muffled sound isn't too loud.
It's loud enough to hear through the helmet but not loud enough for others to be distracted by it.
I know you didn't want speakers, but other may want to know you can muffle them if you need.

I forget about the signals from time to time, myself.
What muddies things up for me is that I have a windscreen and the right mounting tube obscures about half of the TS indicator and makes me have to tilt my head to the right a little to verify the light is on or off. Kinda PITA but still worth it...
