Do you prefer top mount or side mount? I just bought a hero3 silver and I'm leaning to side mount...

Don't do it. Sidesaddle is outdated and dangerous

Isn't it just as dangerous to get hooked on the top and yanked rearward? Decisions decisions...

I like the way it can be mounted under the visor like the way zippets showed.
ive stuck a quick video together of how i mount mine.

This is kind of a long video, but it was an awesome day riding with fellow dual sport riders on roads I've never traveled! Watch the mighty KLX roost my buddy on his XR650. LOL I nailed him with a blob of mud.


This is a video from last month riding my RMZ250 on the trails. There is a 2-3 week window where the leaves are changing but they haven't yet all fallen off. Perfect time to ride in my book.

Hey! that's my helmet.......and my messy living room ..LOL the camera works well there, but does obscure some of your vision. Usually you are looking downward and it doesn't interfere, but sometimes it is distracting. Dan
