Neil the Honda XR650-L lever fits. Look here for comparison pics of both levers on the KLX250s http://klxforum.suncup.net/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=309. IMS and MSR both make aftermarket levers.
I need to get a spare myself.

Although I wouldn't describe Woz as completely crazy but,....
Crazy is certainly lurking.....

And it was good to catch up and ride with a fellow Kay-efferrr.
Never been on a ride where the KLX was top dog.
Well it least in the numerical sense.

The pace and terrain was really to my liking.
Top day.
