Ride report...with pics of course.
It was only a 10 mile ride, and by the time I stopped to take pictures it was only an hour long. But saw some cool stuff.
Checking out one of the local campgrounds.
Then headed to the gravel pit. Went up some steep hills. Not a big fan.
Found a new road off the pit, had to check it out.
Someone didn't make it home.
Headed back out and decided to just go into the woods, no trails, just wanted to see what it was like.
Back on the road I saw a Turkey Vulture and actually got a shot, not bad for a Blackberry picture.
Scotchs...Scott's bloom...broom...whatever its called, all I know is its out of control here.
Thought it was a cool contrast between the green and yellow.
Back out on the highway for a couple of tourist photo opportunities.
This last one is a log by a cedar mill that was there when I was a kid. I guess it was either too big for the mill, or too twisted, or both. The mill has been closed for a few years now, and in fact the mill has been taken apart, this log is all that's left.

Looks familiar eh!
Nice to see you " gettin' out there." Thanks for sharing. BTW the Balckberry takes pretty good shots. I'm still using my 5 year old 4MP Canon. Still does a great job.

I shot the bike right up. Although it seemed that either I needed to get the speed up in second, or hit it slower in first. Its almost like I needed a gear in between.

Nice pics Deej, thanks for sharing! Looks like some awesome territory for ridin!! Wow, that log makes your KLX look almost like matchbox size! Do you clean that bike every time you stop to take pics?

I have to admit that I do avoid mud and water when I can.....I know I'm sick. But if I go riding with other people, and they hit the mud and water crossings, I just hit it and pretend that its all good. Then I clean up as soon as I get home. Its funny, when you go through the first mud puddle, then you stop worrying about the rest of the day.
