Default ride pics

Pics of my ride from 2-3-08...It was a nice 38 degrees that day and it was sunny as heck so i went on a short 60 mile ADV ride.I rode along the Delaware river from New Hope to almost Easton...I pretty much was sidetracked by all the dirt and gravel roads and creek crossing along the way.
The first pic is of the flood plains at the Frenchtown bridge....killer road to check out....to bad it's closed from November to April....The hill is very bad.

A KILLER backroad off of rt. 32....It shot up along this awesome creek that was mostly frozen. Most of the road was still frozen over with snow and ice and the D607's thouroughly impressed me on this road....They stuck!......point is i'm keepin 'em till they are done and i will by another set again.

Another pic of where I stopped to snap the pic.....no traffic!!!! man that is nice. There are miles and miles of dirt roads and creek crossings around this area....Lots of fun

After a Deeeeep creek crossing......The water was very high.....almost knee high while standing on the pegs.....made me very darn cold.I only had 15 miles to get home....only my feet got cold.I also had a few detours but didn't stop to get pics on the way home....A killer road was Sheeps hole road ...yep that was the name.....It was mud about 5 " deep for about 3 miles and i was in no mood to stop after the creek crossing...deep red mud and major holes in the road.....
another pic of my crossing....

Hey Truckman thanks for sharing the pics, ride reports will never get old. How come the slab guys never post a ride report. Oh yea that's because how many pics do we need of concrete and blacktop?[8D] J/K slab's, get on it.

38? That's warm. It was 20 here this morning. My face froze off on my 2 mile ride to work. Of course 20 is warm compared to our friends up North. 20 is the new 40.[8D]

shoot, wind chills of -41 were reported here in Iowa yesterday morning. -30 where I live. I'm beginning to think these ten foot tall mountains of snow will be here until June. it's really depressing.
hey, couldn't you just get up on the seat and squat next time you have water that high to cross?

-30? Wow! How do you even function in that those kinds of temps. I guess I will never complain about 20 degrees here anymore. YIKES!! Hey Truckman is that a pelican case on your bike? And if so is that mounted sideways? What size is it? 1400?

I'm spoiled and like it that way! Only 56ยบ here today and I don't like being bundled up like the "Michelin Tire" guy when I ride, can't move around all that well and the reflexes go to sh*t in that cold weather! Viva - amo el tiempo caliente!
