Reviving the klx350s
The ex has the klx350s sitting under a tarp 3 blocks from the beach. It’s a shame seeing it deteriorate from the way it was a few yrs ago. Ruined a fcr35 Keihin carb, well it needs more work than previously thought. But to keep my mind off that fiasco, I’ve been fixing bikes mainly crf450xs plated preferably. Freshened up the 08 X and repaired a basket case 05 X with a R head w kibblewhite stainless valves/springs/etc & R cam, new piston, cam chain, pink wire mod, updated jetting and she’s a brute. Also stuffing a 91 cr250r engine into a crf250x roller in the background. It’s insanely fun riding on the street with a dirt bike
Both plated n ready to prerun

Thanks for the kind words. I haven’t done a conversion/frankenbike so this should be interesting. There’s a site that does the cr500r conversion with a thorough kit. Very helpful along with threads/pics. Makes it look like anyone can do it lol.
I’m still trying to get the klx back from the ex... it’s sickening watch it become all weathered sitting that close to the beach. Here’s pics back when. *sniff *sigh

Nice bikes and projects. Sorry to hear about the KLX...that's a shame.
I should get the KDX plated. Run some 2-stroke fun.
And there's this KX500 I'm trying to talk an acquaintance out of....
That's be fun running around town on. Idaho makes it pretty easy to plate a dirt bike.

IDRIDR. I highly recommend a plated Kdx. Makes a sweet dualsport that your friends won't be able to touch when you hit the single track.

That’s one sweet looking 200. Looking forward to that cr250r with up to date kinda suspension. The suspension guy said the 91 cr250 forks were the worst and can’t be made to work easily like other years, rear shock he could make hero no problem just takes cash lol

Thanks Racegass. She is a 05 220. Last year made. Got lucky finding her in 2013 completely stock with around 12 hours on her. Sat in storage since 06.
Fork swaps are no big deal. Hardest part is deciding what forks to go with. Some WP air forks would be sweet.
And I thought my 220 had low end grunt but a Kdx500 Wow! I want one!
