The app asks me questions I have no answer to.
Frontal area in square feet. Me? Just the bike? When I am upright or "under the paint" Smooth in the front or "pointed" like the **** seen earlier.
An F150 is about 30 square feet, a saturn is about 20. I plugged in 6. Who knows.
It also asks for wind resistance or the coefficient of drag. I have no answer for that one. The default is .37 A bigger number is for less drag like ballistic coefficient.
There is some info on the website, but not much for motorcycles. Changing either one of these will change the results, so I have 2 unknowns.
I waited for comments before explaining.
It said my 99 F350 diesel has 840 hp. Closer to 250. This could have been my error using the tool.
Runs can be repeated and it has options for how to start and stop the timer. Real Horse power in not going to happen with this one. I may be able to use it to compare different things I do to the bike, but cannot compare it to other dyno's.
If I and some one else used the same program and plugged in the same numbers it MIGHT be possible to compare.
