Replacement shock springs
#11
Left two messages and did the message via their site as well. no response from moto-pto.... Soooooooooo.... anyone have the part number for a race tech or progressive suspension springs for a 2007 klx250s? Been trying to find it on the site, without luck.

For my '06, I used race tech and looked up numbers for the KLX300. Then my dirt bike shop called them and confirmed what I'd selected was correct for my weight, riding style, etc (although still using the KLX300 model because they didn't have 2006/07 KLX250). I don't recall if I have the 6.0 or 6.2 rate spring (stock is 5.8 IIRC). Us 06/07 owners have done well with RaceTech using the KLX300 selection.

Quick question on Gold Valves and damping adjustment. The PO had installed heavier RaceTech springs front and rear, and also revalved with Gold Valves front and rear. This being the case, do my damping clicker screws still work? I need to add a little damping (slow down rebound) to my rebound on rear a little. It's my understanding that the Gold Valves will increase damping across the board, and fine tuning can be done at the stock damping screws on shock and forks. Is this true? Can someone varify this?
Thanks...
Thanks...

Installation of Gold Valves will not affect the clicker screws. The amount of damping by the Gold Valves depends on the shim selection. One major problem with the KLX forks is that we cannot change the rebound shim stacks.

Yep, I know. So whatever setting the gold valves are are across the setting range like I said. Example: If gold valves damping say increased by 20% more damping, the clickers are still working, just at the extra 20% at each setting. I got it. Thanks man.
Time to take my screwdriver out on the trails to dial it in. I just set my sag. I ride deep sand. So it's 70% deep whoop sections for me.

Where can we buy raising links? I am tall and need a stiffer rear end so raising links would kill two birds with one stone for me.

Wish they had the lengths posted in mm. If their +1 link is the same as the 06/07 KLX.. its a wash.
