My KLX got painted black 3 weeks ago.But now i finally found a complete set of black plastics for it EXCEPT for the headlight shroud. It is a supermoto fender but ,eh, who cares at that point.I think it was 149$ for all the plastics.which included .Front fender, rad. shrouds, side panels for the seat and the rear fender.....from acerbis and also another company also had a set for 169$ but i didn't look into it too much.all you need to do is get some factory rad. shroud decals and you'd be set for a decent price and alot less time than i spent doing plasti' prep and 3 days of paint work so i know it wouldn't fall off if the plastics got bent.[:-]
Any Pics? Is the seat still green?

Truckman has all the answers on the plastic, but from what I gather if you go on to acerbis worldwide site (not acberis usa) you can convert the language to english. Go under bike selection under the products subtitle, and you can pull up parts for a Kawasaki sm 250. Which I am assuming is the d-tracker, but could be wrong since there are no pictures of the actual bike. There are black, green white, and some yellow parts available for this bike. Acerbis usa shows no listings for our bike unless I am missing something. Hope this helps until Truckman can chime back in.

In terms of pure fun, I would rate my CBR a littleover the BMW. However the BMW is so much more comfortable and you can ride all day. It's comfortable on the super slab, around town, and on the backroads. It handles great for a standard and the engine is very charismatic andhas a very unique sound and feel to it.

This one is less controversial styling than its predecessor the R1100R which many people thought was mfugly. I really like the styling of this bike. But yes BMW because of it's very unique styling do elicit very strong feelings either way, good or bad. But that is one of the reasons I like BMWs because the styling is so unique and each of their bikes so different. Total opposite of the cookie cutter bikes that Harley makes.
