Renthal RC High bend.

Renthal RC High bend.
Replaced my Renthal "Jimmy Button" bend bars for some Renthal RC High bend. Unplanned but necessary as I clipped a tree at about 90kmh which ended in lots of tankslapping and an eventual lowside. Very lucky to come out unscratched. The bike was very lucky too as it took the whole fall on the right Barkbuster ( VPS model is a tuff as they come, virtually unscathed except for a small scratch on the alloy, and they totally saved the rest of my bike.) Also some luck ending up in a small irrigation ditch with plenty of soft earth and grass (once washed the bike was unmarked except for the new "custom" bend in the JB bars.)
Lucked out too as a local'ish' (Sydney) Estore had some new bars on special. The RC High bend are near identical to the JB and as they were on special that's what wend on.
RC High Bend
Bar No = 809
A = 802
B = 114
C = 80
D = 200
E = 54
Jimmy Button Bend
Bar No = 764
A = 807
B = 110
C = 85
D = 205
E = 67
New bars fitted up with new MCS mirror.
While I was at it I finalised the rear mudguard delete. Got a new rear lens that has the white window for the numberplate on order. Keeps it legal. Will fit the red reflector to the back of the rack, legal.

Cool, Glad you didn't end up with a Jimmy Button up the ***!! I just intstalled the JB bend and they feel much better for me than the stockers. I wonder if they make a Jimmy Barnes bend!!

Funny post.
Barnes's signature "Bar" would be a cross between "The Pub With No Beer" and the Bundy Rum factory. LOL
Check the fashion! Quicksilver singlet and AXO ride pants. Classic!

Does the job really well out here. "LIGHTWEIGHT" 4 wheel drive is the way to go when you have as much sand as we do. Very competent vehicle in the right hands. Excellent road manners too, once you've junked the OE Yokohama Geolander tyres. The Toyo MP3's are far superior.

Eyes on stalks as I past within inches of not one but two very large gum trees, I was able to breath again as the ditch and grass approached. Too easy .LOL
For those that don't know, Gum = rock f#@kin' solid.
OUCH!
