Removing Rear Fender Extension

I suppose I should try to find that fuse now so I know where it is. If it can be blown that easily I know I will do it somewhere in the middle of total darkness. Can someone tell me where to look for it? What size fuse did you replace it with?

Replaced it with 10amp fuse from NAPA. The fuse box is located under the seat towards the back. Its a little black box wrapped in a rubber housing that mounts to the bike. You have to crack the case open to access the fuses.

Good information and really great photo. Photos are always appreciated. Thick clouds and drizzle in Seattle today so I think it's a good day to take the seat off (I don't even know how to do that yet) and do a little educating on this new bike so it isn't all a mystery the first time I have to fix something out on a remote logging road after dark. That's the wrong place to figure out why the head light won't work and how to fix it.
