I think you guys are spot on with your analysis. What confused me was when I went to pick it up, the seller was cranking it over and I told him to quit, I'd start it when I got home using quick start. It had sat for awhile. Apparently it lost it's charge rapidly, maybe from faulty charging as I let it set for a few days once I got home. I'm picking up a new battery on Sat along with a battery tender so I will post when I hear the sweet sound from the exhaust.
