Default Recon KLX

Here's a pic of a Japanese Ground Self Defense Forces KLX250 riggedto carry areconnaissance trouper with gear. It carries water and an Alice Pack (equivalent) full of food and gear.

Yeah, I'm bored, but it would be cool if part of the job was to ride around one of these...as long as you're not getting shot at The other recon bike they use is the XRL250.

When i was over seas in afghanistan, the italian army had something almost like that. Itwas a litlle more olive drab in color, and it was a klx300. Looked fun though...

Whats up with teh forks on the military klx. I didn't think the klx came with conventional forks in any year.

I can only guess that the USD forks didn't meet Japanese military spec. I wonder which forks Kawi used.

Yeah, I'd like to ride one of those KLR650 diesels just to see how it feels.
