Reckless Drivers Thread

I actually reached out and touched a town dump truck (1 ton) that took a left in front of me. I was going to slap the metal hard enough to catch his attention but decided against it and just touched the truck.
I called the town manager after I got to work. He was not pleased, after I was done being not pleased. I actually got pulled over and asked about it by cops on my way home(I'm the only idiot riding, so they had a good idea of who I was).
I might suggest sharing the video with police or town managers to up enforcement. A black and white, parked near a stop sign randomly, has a way of fixing bad behavior. Even if it's empty.

They wanted a description of the truck and driver.
I live in NH but work in Maine. There's only one moto out all year. Pull me over and you're batting 1000. They were nice, kind of sheepish, asking if I was the guy that reported to the town manager about almost getting hit. Because in fact they didn't know.
Turns out the guy was delivering the new town truck...right.
But for some reason, recently there are more cops patrolling, or at least parking near offending spots.
As a side note...
I pay tax to a state I don't live in, just to use 2 miles of crap road that ruins my vehicles to get to work and work at a small company that provides lots of revenue for that state, damn right I'm gonna bitch. Taxation without representation isn't how it really works here. Especially in a town with a police force under duress and disgrace for misconduct. The towns truck almost ruined my life, lucky for me I have a few miles under the belt and expect such idiocy, from all manner of 4 wheel + vehicles, a car(in my place) would not have been so lucky...
Ride aware to be safe. It is literally why I'm still here.
ASSUME ONE THING - THEY DON'T SEE YOU and you might be OK.
Off my soap box, the choir sounds great.

Ouch! That seemed to be poor rider reaction. He panicked and ran into the truck after a brake induced wobble, it looked like to me. He's lucky he hit the corner of the truck.
Man that just makes my teeth hurt thinking about it. Can you even imagine?
What is really amazing is how the brain just shuts those memories off because they are outside the scope of comprehension.
