A front sprocket is around 10 bucks, why not go ahead and replace it? The front on my dad's 06 DRZ dissolved at about 5000 miles, and I'm talking, three teeth broken and the rest curled over. A worn out sprocket will stretch a chain prematurely, I don't see why I shouldn't spend a few bucks and have an entirely fresh drivetrain. It is not a 100% myth, if it happens on mountain bikes that are simply human-powered then I'm quite sure it would happen on a 280 pound bike making ~20 horsepower. Curled teeth stretch links. I'll have to buy a new chain to go with the bigger rear sprocket anyways, so again, I don't see why not spend ~10 bucks on a new 14T.

The stock chain isn't exactly something to celebrate, its not even an o-ring chain. Mine already looks iffy, again, I'm at ~4350 miles. It'd be silly to buy a 13 tooth front sprocket, then in 1000 miles have to buy a new chain and rear sprocket anyways. And I'm still not sold on this 13T front thing, but its just a MOHO.

Long story short, I'm replacing the 14T, I'm getting a 47T rear, and a new, better chain, and there's nothing you can do about it

Mad Max. 73 Ford XB GT Falcon.

The Motor is 351 Cleveland V8 with a 4 speed manual box.
The car is owned by a work friend of mine. That photo was taken at a local show just before it was sold. I would have snapped it up quick if it wasn't for the AUS $50'000.00 price tag. Bitchin car. Here are some photos of the same model.

how's come Australia always gets the cool Ford designs? ever seen the Aussie Ford Falcon of current? it makes any beemer look like a chevette. and this is a Ford automobile. The new to-be-released-soon redesigned 2010 Ford Fusion has a little bit of it in design, but the Aussie Ford vehicles are downright sweet, even the Ranger looks badass.

btttt- good luck on the gearing changes.
