Default Rear spring tutorial

So, I've had the front and rear moto pro suspension sitting on the shelf for months now. I think I am finally gonna go for it this week. I've got 2 tutorials for the front bookmarked. Looks really easy.

Has anyone done the rear spring? Seems to be more involved, but doesn't always mean it will be harder.

Dude I just said I have the springs already. My question is about installation, not which springs to get. For a 200lb+ rider that is near maxing out the rear suspension.

I wish I could help you, but I had a local shop (Enzo Racing) rebuild my shocks with KYB internals and install KYB springs. Have you tried using Google to find tutorials for the rear spring replacement? I'm fairly certain most modern dirtbikes are very similar when it comes to suspension swapping. Again, sorry I'm not of much help, I wish I were more like my father whom is more mechanically inclined.

Naw you can change front and rear springs if you can change a spark plug. Just saying go a bit up on motopro spring rates if you are a more than average rider.

Pretty easy: put bike on stand, remove rear wheel, remove swingarm bolt that goes thru the engine, lower the swingarm, take out the bolts holding the rear shock in place, (this may be easier to get out if you take out the airbox), loosen the two large rings on top of the spring all the way up, now you can take off the lower spring keeper by sliding the slot off of the rod, re-assemble in reverse order.
