I was gonna hi-jack Topaz's post but thought better of it

Got an 09 back in April and have a couple of nice long multi-day trips coming up this summer so I'm looking for some more storage. I had my heart set on the Enduro Bags from Wolfman but as much as I like the look of them, there doesn't seem to be much in the way of storage space. I've dealt with Turbo City before with my Jeep and noticed they offer a couple of different combinations of tail bags and side panniers.

Is anyone using the TCI rack and bags? I've read up on how weak the rear subframe is so I'm a bit hesitant to toss a rack and three bags on the back only have problems down the road (pun intended)

What say yous????

Hey Tony. Weak sub frame? Tell that to my bike. 75 lbs for 700 miles on some of Canada's roughest roads.

 

deej.....that's what i wanna see! i miraculously managed to read the entire long term review thread on ADV and a couple of guys with 06's and 07's had mentioned problems with the subframe and cautioned against putting any sort of load back there

not sure if it's any different on the 09's but if you managed to come out unscathed then I hope I wouldnt have any problems either
