rear chain guide
i smashed my stock rear chainguide the other day so it had to go. thought i was getting a moose guide from the local dealer but ended up with this jeff fredette guide.
the outside plate is fine but the chain was hitting the inside plate so i put a couple washers in there to widen it a bit. also the chain rubs on the bottom piece of plastic. i figure it's because i'm running a 47 tooth rear sprocket. the chain will eventually wear thru that plastic so i'm not too worried about it.

RE: rear chain guide
got the same guide from moose and it looks exactly the same. it's a much tougher unit than the stocker.
currently running a 14/51 and had to move the guide forward buy drilling an extra hole.
is that a welded on shark fin for rotor protection?

RE: rear chain guide
Keep an eye on the side plate of that guide. I was runinng the same one and for some reason the chain had almost worn through both Side plates of the guide.so i ended up going back to stock. If I have not tossed it I will post some pics.
