i went with the muzzy full exhaust instead, but thanks for the info.

in regards to the jet kit I called dyno and they told me they do not have one for this bike.

probably the one for the klx300, as long as the carb is the same as the 06-07's

Hey all...

Took the plunge last week and picked up a red 09 on Saturday! Whoo hoo! What a sweet little bike. Got to take it for a boot on some gravel before the 90 km highway trip home. Cold, windy and a little bit of snow in the air! Luckily none of it was sticking to the road. It seems that winter just doesn't want to let go quite yet...

Oh...also about the hangers on the rear sub-frame. I figure they're bungee cord hooks

just remember that the Muzzy full will require you to remove your rear footpegs since it won't clear them. Also, the ONLY exhaust I've verified that will fit the '09 is the 2-brothers. But I assume that if it fits, the rest will too. You just have to worry about bolting the muffler up as the mounting holes on the frame do look the same but I can't be 100% sure. Two-brothers did tell me that their slip-on will fit the new bike however.

You don't have to remove the foot peg, I took it off, rounded it on the bench grinder and polished it to a factory look. You can't even tell that I worked on it. And yes there is still plenty of material back there. There is always a way, you just have to discover it. I just made that up right there. You all can use it if you want.[8D]
