you can get rid of some of the popping by backing out your fuel screw a bit. an 1/8 to a 1/4 won't hurt anything and might just work.

Im gonna get a staintune without rejetting the carb, will post a thread to let everyone know how it goes.

Make sure you don't have an exhaust leak where the head pipe joins the silencer. The air pump (if you have one) will also make the bike pop on decel with an aftermarket silencer. I had *horribly* popping on my '06 after putting on the Bill Blue Mikuni and an HMF slip-on. After removing the air pump and using hi-temp RTV to seal the slip-on to the head pipe I have no popping at all.
