Rust and living by the ocean seem to go hand in hand. Don't worry, you are not alone. Orginally my KLX came from Anderson AFB in Guam. So, the KLX does have a few rust points. Luckily, now it is being ridden at least over 1,000 miles from any salt body water.

Yeah.. But only our apartment is near the Sea.. I now keep it in our other house which is quite far away from the sea..

Lol Sorry guys, I still didnt get a chance to take pics as I'm living in the apartment and the bike is in the other house.. With christmas just around the corner, i'v been pretty busy too

Hey guys really sorry for delaying so much! I finally took the pics yesterday as I bought the bike to the apartment to wash and rode it a bit too..

I must say that after the TwinAir Filter I definitely feel a difference in Power; its more aggressive now!

would this happen to be the bike that went completely underwater when someone didnt realize the kickstand would sink into the soft mud? I saw the video on you tube. The bike I saw was ridden into what looked like a lake and the rider got off and put the kickstand down and walked away. The bike stayed up for like 10 seconds, then kerploink down she went.

The sprocket isnt a new one, its the same old one, I got it newly galvanized..

@clgdswr

Yeah this is that bike.. And Im that rider lol... But that isnt the reason that the bike started rusting.. I know for a fact it isnt, because after that episode, I was living in our old house and the bike was fine, as soon as we shifted to the apartment, this happened..
