Unhappy Random Whistling/Squeaking noise?????????

So today I was riding and I started to notice a whistling noise. I just finished cleaning my brakes so I know my brakes aren't the issue. Furthermore, the whistling sputters with the engine. (Ex: when I'm in a higher gear for the speed that I'm moving at). Also it doesn't happen when I'm at a stand still and it doesn't happen for the first 10 mins of riding. As for where roughly it's coming from, it seems to be coming from the riders right side. But in all honesty I am the worst at finding random noises on anything with a motor that runs on 2 wheels or 4 lol.

Anybody got any ideas?

Wind noise?? Try earplugs. You'll thank me in 20 years.

try spraying your speedo pickup on your front wheel with wd 40. I had the same irritating problem and that is what it turned out to be.

Sweet I'll give that a shot, but where did you roughly spray? It looks all closed in and ya can't really get in there to spray anything. Did you take the tire off completely?

remove the retaining screw, pull the cable out - lube and put back in. I had the same thing a while ago.

maybe 09 is different?? I have an 07 - there is a phillips screw that holds the cable connection together - to remove the cable you just remove the screw and pull the cable out of its housing.
