I got tired of the stock blinkers with the oversized stalks, so I switched them over to a much smaller and brighter LED set. I also could not stand the huge mudflap on the back so I decided to trim it up and add new lights to the fender to clean up the rear some. I also finally trimmed to Acerbis Rally Pro guards so the throttle side could fit. Now I just need to fabricate some kind of license plate bracket.

 

I like it - looks sweet! Wait, what's this? Did you hire a rabid beaver to do the plastic trim work?????

 

Dremel wheel lolz. Still need to get some fine grit to smooth it out.

Hey AWSOME job on the Acerbis gaurds, any chance you could post a few picsfrom above, Im mounting mine this weekend.

As for the rear...well i dunno what to say, I agree the stock is a monster, but there was another guy who trimmed the back while keeping the mounting gear. I think there is a happy medium somewhere

The brake light is more temporary then anything until I can find a good LED strip that I can use for the brake light. This will allow me to drop the bulky OEM light and mount all together. As for the plate I have to wait till it comes in, I still have the paper plates right now.

 

in defense of the 06 and 07 the droopdown rear fender provides alot more fender and taillight options than the 09. just sayin.... and i still love my six pack rack in the back.

 

How is the flashrate on your blinkers. Did they come with load resistors?
