Exclamation Radiator Shrouds for 250S

Just searchin' to help a friend out who had a mishap with a tree! Found these. They fit the IMS 3.2 G tank designed for the KLX300. States 250 "shrouds needed!" Looks like these will fit the OE steel tank on the 07 and earlier KLX250. Opines anyone?

This picture shows an 04 KLX250R and the shrouds fit the 250 plastic tank (they have the same shape as the 06/07 shrouds that fit the steel tank, and the same shape as the ones in the FSW ad.)

Here are the ones advertised on the FourStrokeWorks website $100.

You can see the obvious differences between the shape for the 300R and 250R/S shrouds.

Gonna bump this for you.

I really like the shroud graphics on the '04 R model. Very reminiscent of the KDX H model before Kawi went with the bland company name and stripes on the shrouds.

I know for sure that some trimming of the 06/07 stateside shrouds is needed in order to fit them to the IMS 3.2gal tank for the KLX300R. The bolt holes line-up though. I don't know if the FSW shouds will fit the steel tank and don't have an 'eye' for that sort of thing. I would imagine they would fit with some 'gaps' that shouldn't pose any problem from a practical standpoint. Good luck to ya though.

I think all KLX250 and D-Tracker shrouds before 2008 (first year for EFI in Japan) are interchangeable. The only exception was one out of 4 bolt holes from around 04 to 07 would be left open.

Off-track observation.... I think there's an Ohlins rear shock on the last pic.... but that Yamaha tuning fork mark on the shroud makes me doubt what I am seeing...

For a while the popular opin' seemed to be there weren't any after market shrouds for the 06/07 models. Good to know there is stuff out there. Still $100, but that about $60 less then OE. $60 is $60 right.

Yup , I'd pick up $60 if I saw it laying on the ground. $100 is still ridiculous for two pieces of plastic, but what are you gonna do?
