I used some universal trailer lights on my '12.
Been on there for over a decade now with zero issues.

I also used the shorter oe stalks for the front indicators-still working just fine.

I like this option.
Could you provide a link for those so I can purchase the exact same items. Also, were they straight plug in ready? Any cutting wires or adding nuts, bolts, etc? Or did it come straight from package & mount perfectly onto the existing mounting bracket/holes?
