Default Question about DR350 carb

I think I have read on this forum that the 1993 & 1994 Suzuki DR 350 carb is a pumper that will fit our KLX250S. Anybody know this to be true? Thanks

Those bikeshave the TM-33 (same thing Marty has) but you're better off sending it to Bill Blue forhis machinedadapter rings. Otherwise, youmight haveto grind material from the frame for a proper fit andit will be a bear getting the carb to properly seat into the intake manifold boot, or whatever it's called on a motorcycle (boot on cylinder intake side).

Look at some of Marty's earlier threads for the contact info. I think the TM-33offers the best "bang for the buck"among any of the pumpers that workfor this bike. Once Bill mods it, it's pretty much plug-n-play as long as you've done your homework on jetting. Marty should have that worked-out for you by the time you get your carb

I just picked up a 1991 DR350 carb, and it looks identical to Marty's, except for one tiny brass fitting that's missing on my carb (See the red circle in the 1st photo below). I got it for $185 off eBay , but then UPS Canada ripped me off for $80 in brokerage fees [:@].

I've already contacted Bill about doing the custom mounting, so I'll probably send it to him after the holiday rush is over ... and definitely NOT by UPS Canada !!! I've also got a Twin Air Backfire filter on orderso I'll be able to cut out the wire screen afterwards. I figure my jetting is going to be a moving target, but hopefully I'll be able to get all the mods set and settled by the start of next season.

There rest of it looks to be the same ... at least on the outside.

Thanks for the prompt info guys. It was your input that gave me the confidence to bid on Ebay and win a Mikuni off of a 1994 DR350 just a few minutes ago. $ 66.00 including shipping. Seller says the only markings on the carb are 14ER K411 and it is in excellent condition.
Mike, does your carb have anymarkings? I hope this is the right carb. The photos on Ebay were pretty blurry but as far as I could tell it looks like the same one you got. I really appreciate those photos that you posted.

The markings are pretty obscure:

and near the choke:
