Left at 7:00am. for a 90mile each way ride. Met up with some of the usual guys at Union Creek rode some of the same old trails for the 5th year in a row ended up at Diamond Lake and after a break we
left in different directions as some were not on dualsports. I changed course and made a ride up to
and around the Deep Blue Lake.

Wonderful scenery - I must see Crater Lake in person some day. How does it get such a glass smooth surface for such a large body of water? Spectacular!

Definitely some of the most (if not THE most) beautiful scenery in the lower-48 there in Oregon for sure.

I got some nice (yeah right) snapshots of my last ride; some rocks, sagebrush and a mangy Jackrabbit.

 

Hey Tim how far is Crater lake from Diamond Lake? Did they charge you $20 to ride around it on the bike.
