quarter-turn throttle?

It's pretty well made and it definitely looks better than the stock setup. That being said, I was diappointed with it as I thought it was going to let me do clutchless wheelies in first. My bike runs like a scaled ape but it still will not lift the front end without the clutch. I think I may go with a pumper.

I have to believe the Vortex improves snap enough to help out in that regard as well.

I have the pumper carb and a 1/4 turn throttle on my 351. The only thing I don't like is trying to feather the throttle in tight spots trail riding. Sometimes it's just to responsive.

Ya, somethings wrong with your setup. I have a 2007 and can loft the front easily in 1st and a little bit in second with power only. I have the same setup as you but without the sftermarket headpipe/silencer. We both have a 13T front so there's no difference in gearing.

That being said, my bike runs great, it starts instantaneously hot or cold, idles perfectly and accelerates flawlessly from any rpm and it will spank a stock 250 beyond belief. I just don't know why it will not loft the front without clutching it.

This one came stock on my pit bike. Great for me, not so great for a bigginer trying to learn how to ride.
