Q2 is shorter and loud.
Q4 is longer and fairly quiet.
Power-wise; you probably won't notice any difference between the two on this low compression engine.
I would seriously recommend the FMF Powerbomb header.

I had my local Kawasaki dealer order it for me, the gave me about a 20% discount vs. MSRP.

thanks........ just sold my muzzy and am looking for something quieter. i'm looking for more torque in the mid range not top speed so i think staying with the stock header is my best bet. i could be wrong there but won't find out until i run the slip-on for awhile. if i'm wrong i can always get the power bomb later..... right?

I would think getting the full exhaust and degreeing the cams to move the power/tq would be a plan.

"degreeing the cams" Spoken like a true slab slider What, do you think we can just run right out and get degreed, adjustable sprockets for the KLX cams?
If you are in the know, please tell.
