Putting rubber footrest pads on a KLX250S
I saw a post on ThumperTalk about putting the KLX250SF rubber footrest pads on a KLX250S. I would like to do the same thing but I'm not sure if the footrests are the same between the two bikes.
Here's a diagram of the 250S
Here's a diagram of the 250SF
The footrests have a slightly different part number between the two bikes.
Hopefully someone can answer my question. Thanks!

do your stock s footrests have a square washer in the center with a threaded nut welded in the center? thats how my sf footrests are... if so you just need the rubbers with the 8mm bolt and bushing which most any sf owner has laying around. i think most of us have taken the rubbers off... they are a slippery disaster in the rain to be honest. u'll be back to the stock steel grips in no time trust me lol.

possible the production pegs were different than the replacement "1 pegs fits all models peg"
Some of the bmw's use a rubber insert that squashs down when you stand, so sitting you have a rubber damped effect, standing you on the teeth. Think it was on a 650 dakar
