Problem "ALMOST" Solved..
#51
My current jetting specs are :
#120 Dynojet Main.
3rd Position on DJ Needle.
Stock 35 Pilot.
And drilled vacum slide as per dynojet instructions.
Air Box-US Style with no lid.
Bore-Stock.
Pipe- RSV Slip On.
Elevation- 0 - 200ft.
Temperature-28 to 32'c..
Air Screw- is about 2.75 turns open.
Basically speaking I have tried everything.. What do you guys suggest now?

Yes it is.
Not mine.
Credit to another user.
It shows the different taper of the two needles quite nicely.
I could benefit from a needle with a more narrow taper in the last 3'rd but with my jetting at 95% I'm not about to shell out AUS $100 to find out if DJ needle will do the job.
I've done all the hard work now anyway. Most of it due to the unique needle we get down here. N1RX.

I was searchin on here and I came across neilaction's post saying that he bought all his jets from this site :
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Parts...=p4506.c0.m245
Is this the correct model of jet I need?
And I wish Bikebandit shipped to sri lanka :S.. They dont

The jets I bought were for a Mikuni pumper not the stock CVK.

The main thing setting you back is the air your bike isn't getting. You need to junk the sponge air filter and fit a free flowing product. Forget the jetting until you've set your long term variables. I.e. Exhaust, air filter and airbox setting (lid on/off,). These are the things that will affect the jetting of the bike the most. Once you've decided on what "hop up" parts you're going with (RSV slip-on, No airbox lid) then start with the process of tuning the carb' If you add a new part that affects the air/fuel flow of the bike you have to start all over again. You don't yet have a free flow filter so I'd hang off on any further jetting changes until you get one. If you plan on sticking with the OE "SPONGE" filter then carry on. IMHO the #35 pilot should be fine for your set up as is, especially with the DJ needle and the taper it has.
