Default Prices keep falling -- Florida Deal

$3800 OTD (plus tax & registration) ... granted this is a "Duel" sport and I'm not sure how this differs from the standard "Dual" sport.

Ironically, I was in a Colorado Springs dealership on Saturday and it had a new 07 250 with a sticker of $4,999. Made me laugh. I'm guessing that it was just a mistake, as they had straight MSRP on every other bike in there, but even straight MSRP at this time of year is a joke and above MSRP is just insulting.

Ouch! I did the research before buying mine & thats way under the dealers cost. Im wondering if that really is an 07 at that price.

I don't know how the dealer can let it go that cheap. If I could do a road trip & had the time, I would have bought out of state but I cant afford the time & money away.

My 07 has a mfg date of 3/07 The bike on the floor said it was a 07 but mfg date of 10/06

I wanted the newest bike from the box. What can I say, Im **** that way.

Man, With the Canadian dollar is where it is now thats about $3600 Canadian Right now! Wow I paid $5700cdn ($6000usd)...Lol. this is kinda neat that the canadian is finally worth more than a US dollar. It is cheaper for us to shop in the states now. OOPS ok, Back on track. Now that bike on ebay is really cheap. Everyone knows the old saying : " If it looks too good to be true, It probably is!!"

They've either got another one for sale today or the original buyer crapped out on them. I was under the impression that nothing changed on the bike from 06 to 07 other than the graphics. If so, who cares what the manufacture date is if it's still an 07 model year (a year newer when it comes time to resell it)?

Looks like some nice 06 used bikes in the midwest/great lakes areas for the low $3,000s. Great time to be a buyer.

I bought my '06 a month ago for $3000. It had 250 miles on it. It was a deal I couldn't refuse.

My question is how can they afford to let them go that cheap? That way below dealer cost on the bike. I can see it on a trade in thats used but not a brand new bike.

show me these great deals on bikes in the midwest? I'm checking constantly and nothing. I kick myself for not buying the '07 with 198 miles on it for what the owner offered it to me for when I turned him down- $3200. I think had I showed up that day he would have taken $3000, but at that point I figured I'd get the new '09, but when I look at it I keep telling myself a new or very unused '07 is a better buy. All the ones listed on ebay are like in Ohio or east coast, way too far for me.
