1. DRZ has twice the power of any stock KLX. if you can prove otherwise I'd like to see it.
2. My DRZ, an SM, has much better quality suspension components than the tiny softly sprung units on the KLX offering more adjustments and a lot larger forks. this is factual as well.
3. The brakes on an SM are sportbike spec and offer performance the KLX brakes could only dream of offering.
4. Styling is always personal preference and I have never said the DRZ's styling is better than the KLX as I like them both.
I realize I say a lot of stuff, but I don't post stuff that isn't accurate. If I do, I admit I was wrong and learn from it.
I have offered up my opinions a lot on here and got into it with a few people, most of the time being harmless. But I know I have never called anyone a "total dick" or any other vulgar slur. That's just uncalled for and it's a shame you accept it as "what do you expect iowaguy"? I'm sure you'd be one of them guys that if a person was beating up an old man like happened a few weeks ago, you'd just stand there and mind your own business. I mean, come on, what did he expect? He's old and vulnerable and should never leave his house.

Alright guys, let's agree to disagree as they say. A few months ago Bluebird asked me a question.
"Would you have any objections to me recommending you be added as a moderator of the KLX section? I need to find someone that can keep things in this section 'under control', someone that can stay somewhat objective.
You seem to fit the bill, so I thought I run it by you first.

That was actually more than a few months ago, it was around the tail end of the Harley Bike misunderstandings. I didn't really hear back after she told me she was going to pass on the recommendation. Now while I understand that its not a moderators job to babysit people on forums all the time, however I might have to re-visit the recommendation and see what is involved. I have always considered myself an easy person to get along with, and while I don't want to mess that up, I might have to take a chance on losing a few friends in order to try and maintain some sort of way to keep things from escalating like this. I'll let you know what I find out. I'm running late for home already, and so I'll talk to everyone later.

Besides....I dont think your a total dick.....I think your just a sadperson who is in need of attention no matter how you get it. Thats why you post what you do....for attention. You wont get under my skin so dont even bother trying...better than you have tried and failed

I like DRZ's. I don't trash them and I have never said a stockKLX is even close in power. I ride my friends and I like the bike. On the trails I prefer my KLX I like the power delivery and the way it handles better than his. Just because a bike has more power thatdoes not make it a better bike. Just my opinion. That's why I bought the Kawasaki.
The reason I have a problem with you is your delivery of your opinions. You think everyone else is wrong and your right. I agree with JB1 it's your track record. "Everything Isay is 100% accurate," "a slip on is just a noise maker", "My DRZ is so much better than a KLX"...

When you posted pic of your new bike I even stated that I almost bought one just like it. I also enjoy all the controversy you create. I am not trying to run you off I just want you to know that I am not going to stick around and read your BS and not say something about it. You need to realize thatwhen itcomes toobjective matter what you believe isfacts it really just your opinion.
The bottom line is. If this guy wants something similar to his YZ then he needs to look at the only bikes that are close to his. A KTM or a HUSKY. They are no more expensive than his YZ and are way more hard core than either the KLX or the DRZ, which are just trail bikes! That is what I wanted when I got mine. A good trail bike to ride with my wife and children.
I feel that this is good information for this guy. Some people like yourself just look at a bike without doing any research to see if that is what they really want and are disappointed in their choice.
