RE: Power comparison
truth hurts eh mav?you can'tget your tongue up his *** far enough can you? just cuz your bike won't do 3rd gear wheelies and ride them out is no reason to come on this thread and make nonsense posts insulting somebody. the moderator really needs to talk to some of you, it's getting a little ridiculous with your personal insults for no reason. you have no confidence do you? it's quite clear and frankly, sickening. seeking reassurance from others, either openly or not, is not a good way to show you're a man to be respected.

I bite my tongue every time, but A YZ250 and A 400DRZ are close in power. Your on crack....! I think you read to many websites and mag's and don't have enough real riding time to know the diffrence between the 2 bikes. If he rides a YZ250 and is looking for that kind of power a DRZ will not fit the bill.

EMS- the two main differences from the SM to the E or S DRZ are the wheels/tires and front forks. the SM has an RM derived front fork with different internal valving, but same internal coating. It's a really thick, stout fork. It also has larger brake rotors, the front one looks to be identical to a late 90's GSX-R, and the rear is a little larger than the E or S. A little different styling, front fender is different and seat height is 1.5 inches lower. The gearing is also different on the SM. The reason you think the DRZ looks old school is because of the E and S's conventional non inverted front forks with the ugly fork boots from the 80's. Inverted forks look so much better and is the main reason I chose the SM.

deej, that's kind of hard when you have people out of the blue calling you a "total dick" for no reason. now if I would say something like that, there'd be four pages already of posts calling for my removal. what's up with that? it's easy to call me out, but when someone else says something disrespectful it seems no one has the audacity (*****)to step up and tell him that was wrong or not accepted here. I'm glad I'm not one of them guys.

RE: Power comparison
I spelled difference wrong, I don't have to reread his post because I was laughing at you for thinking the DRZ is anyware close to the Power and Feel of a 2stroke motocrass bike! There both good bike for diffrent uses.
