LOL, yeah, you're gonna tell me what to do. In case you have forgotten what you originally posted, you mentioned the KLX250S making 30 horsepower. How can I be kind here- LOUD BUZZER! Ain't happening my man. A guy on here installed a big bore, pumper carb, ported his head and installed hot rod cams along with exhaust. He still does NOT have 30 horsepower (do a search). I had a 2006 KLX250 for a year. I am an ex-MX'er, you know, the type of person Mr. Producer-man/Clinical Psychiatristsays does not know a lick about bikes or working on them? Well, anyways, I did everything to my bike mod-wise this side of installing the 331cc Kustom Kraft kit. I had the spare 300 cylinder and was ready to go. I had a BigGun EvoX, jetted carb, smog removed, crankcase vent mod, slide drilled, Uni-Filter, enlarged hole in airbox lid, 13/45 gearing. The bike ran very good. BUT, it was nowhere near close to making 30 horsepower. After all of these mods, I figured it would make at least 26-27, but 22-23 is more realistic after others with the same mods dynoed their bikes. Now do not get me wrong, I loved my KLX. It is a very sweet looking bike and fun after all the mods I mentioned are done. But, for my narcissistic, tiny genitalia, and midget stature, it just didn't have enough still.
TBH, you really need a pumper carb along with the 331 kit to really wake things up, so I've read. But, you will not get 30 horse until you delve deep into the bottom of the engine with something even larger. To get 30 horse, think about it- a brand new KX250F is making that much power. Do you really think it's possible without some major internal mods? Bolt on mods just is not going to deliver that power. I finally folded and sold mine on ebay. Now I have a 2006 DRZ400SM. It delivers the type of power that you want and more- 35 bone stock rearwheel horsepower. As a matter of fact, tonight I removed my endcap from my muffler.The bike is still stock otherwise. I just wanted to see how it would sound and run. It is surprisingly loud and sounds like a BigGun with it removed. Anyway, I took it for a ride- in first gear I wacked the throttle wide open and I had to hit the rear brake to keep it from going over. The KLXImodded would not even begin to do that w/out some serious clutching.Ismy new DRZthe best bike? Not even close, but it's cheap, trick, torquey, and even more versatile than the KLX imo. Take this post for what you want, agree or not. But just don't discount someone because they speak the truth that you may not want to hear when it concerns a bike you just bought.

 

Hey Dr. Phil- you know for all that you say about me, I can say the same about you. When you let some 'narcissistic' Iowa native get to you SO much that you just can't leave it alone- it's obvious to me that you lack some serious self confidence. Please open up that thread you promised, I'd like to see what kind of replies you get. So, be a man of your word. I want you to, and you said you would if I wanted you to. I'll be waiting in the morning to see if you are a man of your word or are just blowing smoke. You know, for someone who is in the public eye or at least I would think would like to be respected, you know because you do produce or direct a show on the internet- that you would like to keep as low of profile as possible. Now that you have shown your true colors on here by throwing insults left and right, calling me vulgar names and insulting my LOL, genitalia, height, and intelligence (what kind of education do you have?), it's clear to me and probably to others that you are really just seeking attention and reassurance. You know, I will argue until the cows come home, but I also am a realist. You telling me to "shut up" on this thread for no reason whatsoever tells me that you just want to pick fights. Well, you know I'm game. People here know me and where I come from. They know where they stand with me. With you, people are still trying to figure you out. And to be honest, for someone who isin the limelight and wants respect from other motorcyclists, you are really coming off as some sort of a "tool". You are always mentioning my immaturity and such, how mature are you to keep engaging me?
