Possible klx250s purchase

RE: Possible klx250s purchase
Um...not really. I'm fully aware of the shortcomings of my show, But with the budget we have its not to shabby. So your weak attempt at come back is about as comical as you are smart. I have had encounters withpeoplelike you a few times in my life and I have walked away from each encounter thinking that there is some major security issues with that person. Usually they have narcissistic tendencies triggered by either being of short stature, having inadequate genitalia, or a general lack of intelligence. One of these is exposed on this forum on a daily basis. If you would like I will open a thread that all of your weak battles may be waged. I'm sure it will be at the top of the list on a daily basis, as it seems you have the ability to agitate almost everyone you meet. If I were you I would take a step back an do a little self analysis.
It would really suck to die knowing everyone you have ever met walked away saying "Damn...what a *****"

Im not trying to be a jerk, but, WTH is the moderator?? Ive read LOTS before my purchase, and it seems universally accepted that you, my friend are a dink!! You cant expect to spew all that negative garbage with absolutely NOTHING positive to say, and be well recieved. I will be modding the bike, with the help of this forum, and would like some positive inspiration. Please refrain from posting on this thread. Thanks (this is to Iowaguy). Im sorry, just dont need the drama with the facts!

You were asking for opinions and you made a statement regarding the possibilty of the KLX making 30 HP w/ hottercams andthe stock displacement. A few guys including Iowa told you that there is no wayit would make that kind of HP under those circumstances, and that is the truth.

My may issue of motorcyclist magazine list the bike as having 24.5 hp at 8500, and a whopping 15.5#'s of torque at 7000. I've heard so many different opinions on the hp of the bike, but bottom line is once you do some mods the bike is very fun, and that is what it's all about anyway! Btw Plameau, the only shortcoming of dirtbike tv is there isn't enough of them. I soothe myself by watching the episodes with megan over and over. LOL

TBH, you really need a pumper carb along with the 331 kit to really wake things up, so I've read. But, you will not get 30 horse until you delve deep into the bottom of the engine with something even larger. To get 30 horse, think about it- a brand new KX250F is making that much power. Do you really think it's possible without some major internal mods? Bolt on mods just is not going to deliver that power. I finally folded and sold mine on ebay. Now I have a 2006 DRZ400SM. It delivers the type of power that you want and more- 35 bone stock rearwheel horsepower. As a matter of fact, tonight I removed my endcap from my muffler. The bike is still stock otherwise. I just wanted to see how it would sound and run. It is surprisingly loud and sounds like a BigGun with it removed. Anyway, I took it for a ride- in first gear I wacked the throttle wide open and I had to hit the rear brake to keep it from going over. The KLXImodded would not even begin to do that w/out some serious clutching.Ismy new DRZthe best bike? Not even close, but it's cheap, trick, torquey, and even more versatile than the KLX imo. Take this post for what you want, agree or not. But just don't discount someone because they speak the truth that you may not want to hear when it concerns a bike you just bought.
