Glad its working. Don't be afraid to ask questions. In my opinion some of the published instructions leave out small bits here and there. Kinda left me at a fork in the road a few times, but I'm getting my rail straightened out. Almost every single one of these guys here are very knowledgable and polite. (I'm fairly new myself as you can see)

Cyclepedia.com has a great set of instructions/photos for our bike. I bought a 3 year subscription. Any time I have a question that's not answered in the manual, they actually respond within 24-48 hours with detailed concise instructions. Usually it's less than 24 hours. In addition to everyone here, I think their stuff is awesome.

That HMF tutorial is not newbie friendly and poorly written. It assumes too much.

I disagree, it's easy. just follow instructions. what is assumed anyways? it's actually the best on the net for rejetting step-by-step. I mean come on, it's got pics and text. what more could you ask for?

To JasonFMX: this is amazing but when I was trying to get to this website there has always been some kind of error or site construction. Even better that it works now.

Thank you all for your help.

To KDXMike: I am way past my break in period :P Im afraid the stock rear tire is pretty much gone by now. 5500 km and its pretty down i need to get a new one urgently.
What would you recommend for tires?
Dunlop 606. Kenda Trackmaster 2. Michelin MT18. All, DOT approved for road use, all good off road. ? about on road tyres. It's a dual sport right? (put the tyre names in the search facility.)
