That looks like a lot of really good riding. My poor bike does not get to have fun like that.
I am certain there is some land like that around here but I am not sure where.

Everyone around here goes to the ORV park and that is not my thing.

 

Hop over the border. It looks like there are some nice single tracks east of CdA.

LOVE that interactive map!!! Wish UT had something like that... Now, if we could only turn all those red triangles into black dashes, we'd be all set! (yes, I'm a "hater" of specialized trails that are off-limits to me and my bike)

 

O-Man-O-Man! I'll be moving up near there in just three weeks! I'm so ready to be out of the deserts of Southern Nevada....4 years is plenty. I may have to re-evaluate my choices in tires, though!

You folks in northern Utah are close to the starting point of a VERY serious ride: MotorcycleJazz - Tour of

 

I mapped out a path from UT into southern ID just yesterday. So far, it's about 100 miles, and hooks into the Sink Hollow trail on the map you gave us the link to.

I have looked at the Tour of Idaho RR on Mark's (BigDogAdventures.com) website. Looks like a fantastic trip, but I seem to remember some pretty hairy stuff along that route... like a foot-wide, 40 degree, goat path that borders on a 100 foot drop off... I don't think I'm ready for *that* kind of riding yet.

 

The motorcyclejazz website gives some pretty good descriptions of the route. Some of the most difficult can be bypassed, but the first leg north from the Utah border over Oxford Mtn is tough and turns back many a rider, especially those on larger dual sports. Their recommendations: go light!

 

Spent some time on the MotoJazz site this morning... It looks like the route I plotted out yesterday would be real simple to connect to the T2 trail.

The T2 drops off somewhere close to your backyard too, doesn't it?

 

Yes, not too difficult at all to get to Boise from T2. I had planned on riding the full T2 this spring, but broken femur delayed that plan.
