Procycle is where I'm purchasing my wheels. They use OEM hubs laced to Excel rims. Sizes are 17x3.5 front and 17x4.25 rear.

Default SM Conversion

Just wanted to chime in w/ my 2 cents. I ordered factory wheels, ready to bolt on from Powers Edge. Wheels (front and rear) cost 916.83. Also ordered a 39t sprocket (beacuse of the smaller wheels, it stock on the SF model), rim bands, tubes and a new shorter chain. Grand total 1105.83. I'm putting Bridgestone Battlax BT-090S, also comming from Powers Edge. I have a stainless Tusk rear rotor comming, looking into the 320mm EBC kit for the front. From what I understand the KLX300 will work with minimal mods, but unsure yet. New rotor bolts also comming. I wanted to be able to do the quick change from street tires to knobbies. My local dealer wanted almost 500.00 more for the same rims, so doing a little research paid off. Hope this helps.

Hey, it wasn't available back when I got my bike.

Plus, I'd rather have the Excel rims so I can run wider tires.

That funny looking bike on page 2 and 3 is actually a KLX (D-Tracker) stripped down and a custom tank. Those crazy japanese guys over here do stuff like that all the time....it's pretty funny sometimes...I have seen some that had me wondering how they even rode it, ape-hangers they could barely reach....
