Well I throw my hat in the ring, I'll be first in line at the end of the summer when it goes up for sale. Big gun gearing and jetiing will be fine also get me some new tires because I don't want the stock one. Keep the stuff you take off and keep it in the box for me, oh one last thing try not to get it dirty so I really feel like it's a new bike. Have fun looks good.

The lower chain guide is black as opposed to white in the corp pics, your kickstand is straight and the front brake line is routed to the inside instead of the outside of the fork.

in this pic, you can see that the kawi employees of this site were reading nobrakes' remarks on the brake routing, and thus put it on the inside with a nice little hook to hold it away from the wheel.
also, there is this weird rubber disc that is squished up against the rotor and spokes that looks like packing but is obviously meant to be kept there for vibration or some other reason.
I didn't really get a chance to ride it today as it was late when unloading it and the temps were in the 40's and I didn't really feel like freezing. but I did put one little meazly mile on it. With the DRZSM as the last bike I'd ridden, I twisted the throttle and was not mashed into my seat. At that moment I remembered why I had spent the $400 on the BigGun along with the gearing and jetting mods. I also rememebered why I had bought that extra 300cc jug to bore to 331cc a year ago. Again, I wanted to roll the clock back a year and do all of that. The bike in stock trim feels no different from the '06 and DRZ in weight. Who knows how much they all weigh. But I do know that oem pipe weighs a ton as the rear fender growth has to. The bike's suspension definitely feels firmer and the bars aren't as wide. I didn't really get out of 3rd or even above 30mph so I can't compare how shifting is vs the '06. The welds are messy on the frame, not nearly as nice a frame as the new WR. I love the bike, I love the red too. It is different, and will keep the cops at bay. I was once pulled over on my '06 just because the dude thought I was on a KX. He was quite embarrassed. The front brake feels really strong and the lever is stout. It starts up real nice but it hasn't been ridden hardly either so that could change. The smog system is present (for a while) and there is no TPS. The radiators are different and fan looks larger. The taillight is tiny, pics don't show how tiny it really is. The front fender isn't as gaudy in person as in pics. The rear, well, I'll have to get used to it. The bike is neat with it's little weird features and styling. To me, the bike looks smaller- I guess it's because it is shorter. The tires are much more designed for the road but look to perform adequately in anything but wet mud. New controls, different positioned front/rear footpegs. Rear subframe is different as it tapers back like the fender butstill has helmet lock and tiedown hooks. The headlight is one of the best parts of this bike imo. It's no MX'er, KTM or Husky, but it is a cool little bike. I'm sure it will respond to mods just like the '07s and '06's. When it warms up, I will throw a 13-toother on as this bike has NO acceleration in stock form. As far as exhausts go, I will need to do some research because I don't know if the ones for the other bike will fit. More to come. Thanks for the comments.

I always ride them like it's got 1000 miles on them. I don't overexert them, but just don't pay much attention either.
anyone figure the other change out?
