Good stuff! I did look at the 2 brothers exhaust I think I'm going with that also. How much was did you pay for it and who the best dealer on it? Thanks
Hobbs.

I like my 2 brothers!

I got it here http://www.worldwideperformance1.com...2/merchant.mvc

I think it was just over $300 with shipping, got the P-4 tip as well with the order. That was $28 I think extra?

Here is a Bangor buck I arrowed last year. Archery hunting is another passion of mine...

I always did think my '09 ran better than my '06. I just thought it was the Muzzy though.lol
Who still wants fuel-injection now?

Thanks guys!

Just missed the record books by 3 in.

You need 125in. for Pope & Young/Archey

So what did they change in the motor between the years?

Great work and thanks for posting the info. I just bought a new 2009 KLX250S (haven't even picked it up yet) and I'm looking at what it will take to uncork it.

I have a few clarification questions from your original post:

clip on second notch with 2 spacers on top and one under
fuel screw at 3 turns
main jet 128
pilot jet 38
snorkel in
2 brothers pipe

Which DJ kit did you go with, the KLX300 or the 2009 KLX250S?

Did you drill your slide as the DJ 300 kit describes or did you use the short spring in the 09 250S kit, or both?

Which spacers are you referring to ("2 spacers on top and one under")?

I noticed that you left the snorkel in. A lot of people like to remove it for better airflow. Did you do any tests without the snorkel?

Did the bike have the stock header and a 2 brothers slip-on or the whole 2 brothers header and slip-on?

Thanks, in advance! I know it's a lot of questions but being a new owner it's hard to figure out the whole 2009 bike setup since DJ put out the different jet kit for it.

remove your airbox lid totally per the instructions.
there is no "whole 2-bros. header.
there are supplied spacers in the DJ kit that go above the circlip that you clip in designated notches on the needle.
