Default Parting out 2006 D-Tracker

I have not been able to sell this beauty complete, so out comes the socket set!

Here's the sale thread for reference: https://www.kawasakiforums.com/forum...%241500-37600/

I'll edit this posting / thread as I make different parts available - please don't PM me for specific items (yet). I want to get the motor sold before working on the smaller parts.

The first item is the engine:
250cc engine from 2006 D-Tracker
8600 miles
Mobil 1 the last 3000 miles
Starts immediately, pulls strong, no issues at all, doesn't burn any oil - currently still running and you can ride it before you buy the motor!
Clutch / tranny smooth with no problems.
Starter included, clutch cable and lever included, shifter included; carb negotiable, wiring harness negotiable, airbox and No-Toil filter negotiable.
$800 plus shipping

You cant sell it so you are going to tear apart a perfectly good bike?

Probably get more for the parts anyway than the complete bike

It does seem like a bummer, but I understand nobody wanting to buy a bike that does not have a US title. I know that here in Indiana you couldn't register or plate the bike without a title, so what would someone do with it. Cannot plate it and ride.

If it were local I would be dumb enough to drive it.

Thanks for explaining that so I don't have to!

I'm still willing to sell the bike complete for $1500. I'll even leave the TX plate on it, registration good until November (DMV mistakenly issued plates before they processed the Japanese paperwork).

Check to see how much shipping would be, it can't be more than a couple hundred $$. Then you can have one with offroad wheels and one with motard wheels!
