Default Paint or buy plastic parts??

I m very thriller to own a 2006 KLX! I love this bike! Few things want would make some change on KLX. Right now, I don't like the white side panels and white lower fork cover. I would like to have them a black side panels and black on lower fork covers.

I have spend lot several hours on google seem have no luck to find any plastic side panels color black that fix 2006 KLX 250s?

I have find some lower fork covers on sale but most has name on it like white Acerbis with black lower fork covers. Just would like have plain black lower fork covers.

Wonder should I use Krylon spray paint on lower fork covers and side panels worth it? I m kinda nervous to paint on it.

Do anyone know any good website that sell KLX 250s plastic parts?

Thanks!

I have my old panels that I painted.
I tried painting them again but the paint kept bubbling, and I couldn't figure out why.
I just gave up and bought new side panels, wish I never painted them in the first place.

You can have my old black side panels to play with if you want, pay the shipping.
I'm from Canada

Maier klx300 Black side panels will work. Muffler side is a perfect fit, battery side is not...BUT you can just bend them and bolt them on...you will need longer bolts to get the bend working.....had em for almost a year...waaay cheaper than stock too.

If you want a little bigger tank and cheap shrouds, consider a klx 300 tank Maier shrouds are cheap too and the Maier tail plastic looks good too .... Well I think so.

Krylon fusion plastic paint will hold up suprisingly well. It will rub off in high contact areas, like where your boots always touch.

Well actually, last minutes decide use krylon fusion plastic spray paint on the lower fork covers. Its not as great but not bad for spray paint. It look nice and look forward get Maier black side panels. Cant wait get my bike to be look good! Dont know how I can post the picture on forum site....
