PA Grand Canyon, Kinzua bridge and dam KLR ride.
Rochester Rd to Nickolas Dr - Google Maps
Had breakfast at BE in cranberry, we left around 8:30am. Started making our way to clarion. Then took 66 into ANF, then up to warren. Made our way over to Kinzua dam about 11:30 where mike was waiting for us. After a short break for us we took off for kinzua bridge. Mike showed us a scenic road that followed kinzua bay. We came out of there and i used my GPS to get us over to the bridge, it took us down a fair amount of dirt/gravel roads. Made it to the bridge, there was a ton of people over there. That is an amazing bridge and to stand on the half that is still standing looking down at the other half that has fallen is a little unnerving. An awesome sight non the less. We did go though smethport and looked for the armory museum and couldnt find it and decided to just push on there was still lots of riding to get to the grand canyon. So we hit rt 6, after a little detour following my GPS... GPS's consider rt 6 a "highway" FYI. lol. We arrived at Leonard Harrison state park about 5-5:30. Checked out the views then headed over to check in at the campground before dark. Twin streams is a nice place. The "house trailer" is just a mobile home kitchen, living room, 2 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms. Cant beat that for 80$ a night. So we checked in, then headed over to Babbs Inn for dinner where tavis ate a whole platter of a calzone. Full of food and a few adult beverages rode back unpacked/ relaxed watching adam sandler movies til we all crashed. When we all woke up we were hoping for no frost, the thermometer said 37-38 degrees. We took off from the campground and headed towards Wellsboro around 8:30 am. We had breakfast at the wellsboro diner, a full breakfast was on our table faster than mcdonalds would have been. Great food. Over to get fuel for the bikes. Then started heading west on 6. It made more sense for mike to just stay on 6 the whole way, tavis, jt, and i went south on 144 from Galeton. 144, 120, 555, and 255 were amazing roads, scenic through the mountian valleys, twisty. They spit us out in Du Bois. Then we took 322 back to Clarion then 68 back to Cranberry. Amazing roads, great guys, good food, great views... awesome.

Thanks very much for the post!!! That brings back a lot of memories. I used to make the trip from Rochester, NY to Belleville, PA a few times a years to visit my dad. My route always took us past the dam... awesome sight.
I have since moved from NY to Utah. We have our own sights to see here, but I always enjoy seeing pictures from "home". Thanks again!
