Way to go EMS! You're going to love the big bore!

I forgot how tiny a 250 piston looks.

I gave myself extra time, im good at getting excited for farkles. So im leaving time so i go slow and not mess things up... Cant wait. This bike is going to be a blast as a 350.

I would like to think i had it dialed in pretty good.
There was 3K+ on it when I bought about about 17 months ago. And I think the PO did a lot of putting and not much WOT.

I had a 38 pilot in for a short time, than back to stock with fuel screw about 2 or less turns out. DJ#124 main, DJ needle clipped 2nd down, which is lean by most standards around here but still rich based on the bit of soot that would build on rear fender and looks of piston & head.

Do you really pound on it? Its actually good to run a motor fast, it burns all the crap outta it. I ride my bike like i stole it. Just because your jetting is lean compared to everyone else s, but every bike is not exactly the same. Maybe yours was a little different.

It is a slang word used often here in the states. I don’t know why. But I could guess it is from the music rapper genre. Look up Honda XR50 or CRF50 and you will see it used a lot. I myself do not use the term.

I will be stuck with the stock piston for some time too

Yes, I rode it hard. There was a little leak past the upper ring so a bit of oil may have been slipping by. And your point is really the same as mine on jetting. Our bikes and riding conditions aren't the same...so be aware that following forum recommendations may get you close, but maybe not spot on.

I took a few before i tore it apart so i could reference them when putting it back together. Ill take more during assembly. It sits in a million pieces now.... Ill try to remember to take pics of the cylinder before it goes out.
