Optimum RPM's?

I find that 6 - 7 thousand is pretty good for the trails. It tends to bog below 4 thousand, and 5 thousand is ok cruising rpm in my opinion.
That is exactly what I would say also. 5000 on the street is perfect, 13t on the front. Anything below 4, blah. 6-7000 is perfect in the dirt.

at 50 mph it's hard for anyone to say what YOUR rpm's should be. all our bikes are geared different plus our riding styles are different. of course the is no real power below 4000 rpm's but other than that it's up to how you ride. just my 2 cents

I have 14/45 and I think 5000rpms is about right too, thanks guys.

I did the 14/45 I like to stay aroud 5000 to 6000. The thing I like the most is in 2 gear It will climb sand hills pretty good alot better than stock gering
