OPT-7 LED Headlamp Upgrade

Cyclops LED
Rather than create a new thread, the Cyclops looks similar to the OPT-7.
I installed the new bulb this past weekend on my 2007 and shot a few pics for others to reference.
Although not quite plug and play, there were 3 things I had to work around:
1) the clip that secures the bulb just barely fits around the cooling fan, but once secured, it seemed fine.
2) the rubber cover that seals the bulb required a cut so it could be wrapped around the bulb. I also cut out the middle a bit to allow for the bigger diameter bulb. I sealed up the cut with silicone and duct tape. Should be ok for my type of riding.
3) the power unit and extra wiring had to be tucked along with existing wiring

About 4 weeks ago I installed a opt7 lamp. All I can say is wow. High and low work just like they are supposed to. I also installed 2 18 watt work spots to come on with the high beam. On the low beam on each side there was a high hot spot. I played with blocking it and found the bottom center of the headlight lens was where it was coming from so I painted with white hobby paint and that did the trick and did not effect the high beam. This was on a KLX250s, a 2009 john
