I have Trackmasters front and back. I like the back but I would like to find a tire with a softer compound for the front. I don't like the way it skates around in the loose stuff. I use to Run Pirelli M-21,s I might go back to one of those on the front.

I'm running a tkc80 on the front, and for the winter, a trailwing 42 on the back. Once summer comes back and the trailwing's done it's on-road dash, I'll be back to something more aggressive, was thinking a 606. The tkc front seems to be wearing good, just done 6000 on it and it's still looking good.

I would like to hear more ride reports on the Dunlop D908F. I'm considering it for a replacement to the Kenda K270 front I put on when the Dunlop 606 Front bit the dust. I will not buy another Dunlop 606 front because it wore unevenly, was scary on the street, and worked okay but not great off road (hard pack clay with sand and small gravel to make it slick).

I'm with Bake the 776 works real well in the sand that I ride in, BUT, it's wearing fast and it's wearing uneven actually unbalanced like. One side the ***** are pretty good but the opposite there practically gone, egg shaped now. I think I'll try Maxxis c6000 or something like that next.

Remember there is no "best" tire when trying to do both street and off road. One area is gonna suffer either by not enough traction or wearing too fast on the blacktop. Its really a matter when it comes right down to it of how often you want to change tires. I was checking the mileage on my bike and I now have 1000 on the current 606 rear, and its wearing pretty fast. The Kenda K270 while I got nearly 5000 out of it, it sucked on grass/mud/moss. Personally for me, I would rather wear a tire out faster but have that good traction when rarely needed than to get stuck somewhere with a 50/50 tire.

+1 Deej...It all comes down to how often you want to chance your tires...Me I got just about 10,000 miles out of my K270's and today I am going to order me a new set of them!!! The only thing I didn't like about them is how uneven the front tire wore out...I have been thinking about this alot lately ad now that I see some other guys having this same problem with different tires it makes me wonder...

How many of you guys get your tires balanced?

Are the ones that are wearing uneven are they balanced?

I have never had a set balanced...
