Replaced my 2018 KLX 250s D-shaped swingarm with screw-locknut adjusters with 1st. generation swingarm and snail adjusters for less than $50 from eBay. Quick positive chain alignment and tensioning with snails. And easier rear tire removal.

I always preferred the snail style axle adjusters. My 06 klx has then as well as my klr250. Your definitely correct that it makes chain tension easier and quicker. Thanks for letting us know it's a direct swap.
