I rode the TM and the TS 250's of the '73 vintage, maybe it was '72 vintage. Pretty crappy suspension when having to keep the throttle pinned on a hill climb.

I had a tm 400 for a while. What a rush. You never knew when it was going to come up on pipe and when it did you had better be holding on. One of the most fun bikes i've ever owned.

I loved the TM bikes! I wanted to be Roger Decoster sooo bad!

It's amazing to see that our Dual Sports have more than three times the suspension travel of the old MX works bikes. Progress is good!

Maaaaan! I need to contact my father and see if he still has any pictures of our 'CB150 Dream' that he bought, with the engine completely apart in a box,for $100.00. He put that thing together and had itrunning perty in one weekend. He's still about thebest mechanicI've ever known...but I could be biased

The bike was greatfor around town and some of thehighways. Thefreeways were adifferent story. You needed a tail wind to get it up to 65mph! I'd love to have one over here though. I'm sure it would draw a crowdanywhere you went.

Roger Decoster ....... Wow, Now there's a name I haven't heard for a "coons age"
I've been looking at 20 - 30 year old Dual Sports here lately. I'd like to buy one and restore it. Makes me feel not quite so old. The one that I'm leaning toword is an '83 Honda XL600R. They were a real BEAST!!

Roger was the man! I still remember watching 'On Any Sunday' when I was around 10 years old.
