Nice pics, guys, but in the absence of any numbers, tell us your perception of improvement over the stock exhaust. Also, how much louder is it?. We understand that these will be your impressions only, unless you have a decibel meter. That’s ok. We like impressions.
I can’t speak for the rest, but I want a relatively quiet exhaust that improves performance noticeably over the stock unit. I would like to see a good overall improvement, but more in the low to mid range, where I spend most of my time when riding on or off road. Unless we’re racing these bikes, (and I’m not sure why we’d choose a 260 lb bike to do that on when there are so many better options), enough punch to lift the wheel over obstacles and to enjoy a decent roost on fire roads is all I’m after.
So, it’s great to see how they look but please tell us how they work, how you jetted or modified your induction system and whether you replaced the header too, or just the muffler. The suspense is killing me.
End of rant.
Thanks,
Shadetree

You might be best served to search up exhaust threads for impressions, debate, and information.
*edit* I threw up a new thread, hopefully it will yeild some results

Doug. Dangit! Staintune? I've been looking at that unit, but it's expensive. As I understand it, there's no packing on that one. Is that true? How does it perform compared to stock? What carb/intake mods have you done? Sound? You're in the drivers seat here. We all want to know if the Staintune is worth the extra...how much "extra" anyway?
Thanks,
